Born to influential parents, Pekka was trained to be an eloquent, talented, people-pleaser. From birth, she succeeded at fulfilling all of these requests. Pekka had a gentle demeanor and a kindly face, all anyone in politics could ask for. As a member of the council, Pekka's mother faced constant scrutiny and thus was a perfectionist, a trait that was passed down to Pekka. 

Around the age of 14, Pekka's mother was robbed and subsequently killed. This murder was presumed to be unassociated with her mother's position as a councilmember, many even said it was inevitable as Pekka's mother always dressed lavishly. Enraged Pekka was inconsolable and led a manhunt to find the killers. Pekka soon heard word of a black tabaxi woman, some called her Klara, a magician with an extensive list of kills. Pekka furiously searched but to no avail, not long after she was responsible for her mother's duties.

Her revenge would have to wait, and so Pekka returned to her cheery self, at least on the outside. Years have passed with few leads. Internally she feels the everburning hatred for her mother's killer. She patiently waits for word of anyone even slightly matching the description of Klara.
